Chinese Mountain Taishan

Mountain Taishan is located in the middle of Shandong province, with the main peak Yuhuang peak 1545 meters high in the north of Taian . Taishan is a natural historical and art museum, with 1800 varied stone carvings only on the middle axis of Taishan. Dai temple heaven temple of Taishan as well as The Hall of Supreme Harmony in Beijing and Dacheng temple in Qubu are the three huge temples in China. There are 40 Song dynasty Rohan sculptures in Lingyan temple with unique gestures which fully demonstrating the superb Chinese ancient sculpture skills and art expression .

The scenes in Taishan is distributed radioactively centered by Taishan main peak mixed by natural and humanity landscapes. Especially on the north slope, mountains are steep, main peaks are lofty, all of which are overlapping over each other, queer, steep, beautiful, serene, obscure,wild. The main layout scene of humanity landscape is from cemetery Sheshou Hill southwest of Qincheng, Haoli mountain to Yuhuang peak of Gaotian, forming a three spaces as “Hell, Human, Heaven’ Dai temple is the main architecture on the middle axis of Taicheng at the foot of the mountain attached with Tingtian street in the front, with Bending path in the back, forming a body with the mountain and the city. From here you climb up step by step, gradually into the fairy land, from “human to the heaven”.

Taishan is one of the mountain parks in China, also it is the natural historical and art museum. There are 1800 varied stone carvings on the middle axis of Taishan, including precious Qinkeshi, the forefather of big character Jing Shi Yu Jin Gang Sutra, the thousand years’ misery” wordless monument’, resplendent Tang dynasty cliff stone carving “Ji Taishan inscription”. Tiankuang basilica of Dai temple in Taishan as well as The Hall of Supreme Harmony in Beijing and Dacheng temple in Qubu are the three huge temples in China, there is a famous “ Taishan Shen Qi Bi Hui Nuan painting’which is a huge ancient wall painting animated feudal emperor hunting and shooting . The 40 Rohan sculptures of Song dynasty in Qianfo basilica of Lingyan temple are also very unique. The scene in Taishan is famous for magnificence. The overlapping and thick mountains , vigorous pine trees and huge stones, changeable clouds and mists, all of which have made Taishan as a magnificent, beautiful, serene and magic mountain in our country. Taishan was listed as world cultural and natural heritage by UNESCO world heritage committee in 1987.
