Chinese Confucius

Confucius was one of the greatest philosophers in the world, the founder of Confucian school. In the 2000 years’ history, Confucian culture has gradually been the orthodox culture of China and influenced countries in eastern Asia and southeastern Asia as a foundation of oriental culture. Confucian mansion, Confucian temple, Confucian forest are called “three Confucius’ all of which are to commemorate Confucius, on December, 1994 it was listed into World Heritage Directory.

Confucian mansion:
Confucian mansion is 240 Mu with varied 463 halls, floored buildings, pavilions in middle, east, west three rows. The eastern row is Home temple, the western is college, the middle is main building. In the middle is three houses and six halls, at the back is inner house, in the most back is the garden of Confucian mansion. The cultural relics are very affluent reserved here.

Confucian forest:
It is located in the north of Qubu as the exclusive cemetery of Confucius and his family. After Song dynasty, Confucian forest has been rebuilt for many times to the nowadays’ scale -2 square kilometers. The offspring and students of Confucius planted trees for his tomb and the ancient trees here have been to ten thousand.
