Mountain Huangshan is in the south of Anhui province as one of the most famous mountain scenic areas in China. There are varied weird shapes of mountains , famous for queer and steep. The mountains here are 77 overlapping mountains with more than thousands meters high. The Lotus, Guangming Peak, Tiandu three main peaks all of which are more than 1800 meters ,shoulder by shoulder, are the most famous. Mount Huangshan owes its unique scenic value to four wonders. They are queer pines, grotesque rocks, cloud seas, hot springs . The scene here is varied during the four seasons ,it is well deserved its name” fairyland on the earth”. There are verdant and old forests with 86.6% forest coverage. The former name of Yellow mountain is Huoshan, it was changed into Yellow mountain in Tang dynasty.

Mount Huangshan is famous all over the world for queer pines, grotesque rocks, cloud seas, hot springs . Especially famous for Mount Huangshan pine trees which are spread all over the mountains, of which more than hundred years’ old are ten thousand. There are 31 famous Greeting-the-Guest Pine, Seeing -off -Guests Pine, Lying Dragon Pine. The cunning stones here in Mount Huangshan are more than 120, of which famous are Golden Chicken Cocking Heaven Gate, Squirrel Jumping the Heaven, A Monkey Gazing at the Sea. There are many scenes are varied, the water in Mount Huangshan hot springs is so clear and clean that either you can drink or use to bathe. It is also the birthplace of the famous landscape painting.

Mount Huangshan is also a natural animal and botanical park with varied famous flowers and ancient trees, precious birds and rare beasts. The history and culture here in Mount Huangshan is very thick with 200 temples, pavilions, bending roads, ancient bridges and cliffs distributed among the famous mountains and beautiful lakes, adding a lot ancient charm.

Mount Huangshan was listed into first complex important scenic areas by state council in 1982, it is as famous as Yellow river, Yangtze river ,and Great Wall , another symbol of Chinese nation. In 1990, it was listed into World Natural Heritage Directory by the UNESCO which is protected all over the world , till now has become a gem of the human.
