Jianmen Shudao scenic area is situated in Mianyang area of Sichuan. It is among the continuous Qinling, Bashan, Mingshan, centered by Shudao, which was named as the first series of national key scenic areas in 1982.

Shudao is from Hanzhong in Shaanxi, across Ningqiang of Sichuan, to Guangyuan,Jiange,Xintong, about 150 kilometers long. The terrain is steep and the scene is beautiful. There are many places of interest scattered along Shudao, such as Chaotianguan plank road, The battle relics of the three kingdoms, Huangze temple of Wuzetian, Tang and Song dynasty carvings -Qingfo stone, Jianmenguan, ancient Cuiyunlang, Qiqushan big temple,. Libai former residence, all of which are the hot tourism line combined by natural scene and humanity historic famous places.

Jianmenguan, 72 peaks are standing shoulder by shoulder, with the shape of sword penetrating into the sky , it was called Liangshan or Jianshan as the barriers of the north of Shu, tongue of the west of Sichuan. It is often called as “the magnificent pass in the world”, which was the struggling place between militaries. The main peak Dajian mountain with the altitude of 1200 meters, there is an ancient temple of Song dynasty built at the peak of the mountain- Liangshan temple. You can visit Shimenguan, Shishun peak, Chuandongliang, Xiannv Bridge, Sheshen cliff and so on.

Huangze temple is in the west of Guangyuan, former as “ Wunu temple”, also as “Chuanzhu temple”, it was renamed as “Huangze temple” because Wu Zetian was born in Guangyuan. The nowadays temple was Qing dynasty architecture , there are Big Buddha building, Zetian Temple, Small South Sea, Five Buddha pavilion, Lvzu Pavilon. There is a stone sculpture of Wu Zetian in Zetian hall. The stone grottos in the middle floor house 1203 sculptures of North and South dynasty , Sui , Tang, Song dynasties, all of which are varied with characteristics as the boutiques of the ancient sculptural art.

Chaotianguan plank road is the famous relics of Shu between Sichuan and Shaanxi. The water is fast and the mountain is steep, the north is Qingfeng gorge, the lower is Mingyue gorge, between which upper, middle, lower stone caves can be seen. The middle ,upper ,lower stone caves are beamed with wood, the upper is covered with boards, the upper is covered by boards which are used as rain boards. The both plank roads are preserved well, the scene here is beautiful that you can enjoy the ancient Shu road.

Cuiyunlang is on the two sides of Sichuan and Shaanxi road, on which the coopers are scattered and green. Some of huge coopers are huge that you can embrace them, some of which are like smoke, some carrying cliffs on back, some standing on the peaks of mountains, or on the side of the road like a green “jade promenade”.
