Huaxi park was first built in 1937, located at Huaxi county southwest of Guiyang as a famous scenic area. Huaxi park is Huaxi river, in Huaxi county southwest of the city ,17 kilometers away from the city. It is mixed mountains, rivers, idyllic scenery and minority customs together, called as “ plateau pearl ”.
The small mountains are standing on the both sides of the Guanxi river. There are stalistic penetrating the caves and underground rivers flowing underneath. The clear water flows in the zigzag Huaxi river. The lake penetrating through the cliff ,across the bridge and striking the wall to form many small valleys, fallings, lakes, river banks. There are pavilions on the river , flying bridge, hotels and villas scattered on the two sides of the river, adding wonderful scene to the this beautiful scenery. There are small bridges over the river, water flows beneath, the water falling from the fallings is clear and the speed is smooth that visitors can enjoy the scenery by boat on it. The falling slow The bank bridge, hundred-step bridge, the fallings in Xiujiaba is thunderous with flying jade; the valley in Furongzhou and Fanghezhou is serene. The stones in Linshan, snake mountain, turtle mountain, plum mountain, Hyacinth mountain are odd-shaped with ancient canes covering the paths. The flowers in Pine and plum park, peach park, cherry park, Osmanthus park, Peony park are colorful in all four seasons.

There are hundreds of flowers competing to blossom in Huaxi park in spring, lotus wind bring cool in summer, the fragrance of Guangxi flowers can be smelled anywhere in fall, the plum flowers can be smelled in winter, pavilion, flat, building can be seen unclearly with the park covered in green woods. The historic scenery is also very affluent and there are also many works of famous writers.
